The E-Rappu network also supports, studies and developes the use of social media (web 2.0 and further) which enables online interaction, facilitates virtual relations and creates virtual environments where the members of the universtity community can meet, share contents and experiences and are able to communicate which each other. In these solutions, the user is in the centre and the web itself is the platform of learning and studying.
The use of Wiki's is on the agenda and the eRappu Network is piloting the WikiCampus of TUAS (www.wikicampus.fi) and the Wikiversity of the Wikimedia Foundation (www.wikiversity.com).
